You help the companies an infrastructure investor already owns run better and grow, as an associate on the London asset management team of a private markets firm. The team is called the European Private Infrastructure Asset Management team and sits within the Partners Group infrastructure investment team. The investment team buys infrastructure companies and assets, such as energy, digital networks and transport, on behalf of the firm's clients. Your team's job is to deliver the value from those investments after they are bought.

Private markets means investing in companies and assets that are not traded on a stock exchange. The firm invests money from institutions such as pension funds and insurers, buys businesses, works to make them more valuable and sells them years later. Asset management in this sense is not picking shares. It is the hands on work of owning a company, from the day it is bought to the day it is sold.

This is an experienced seat. You arrive with a few years in a transformation, consulting or private markets role and take ownership of the relationships with managers below board level at the companies you cover.
